These guys have the most outstanding shrimp I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Being a native Mainer and now Bostonian I have tried my fair share of seafood and I have never had more fresh or delicious. At Christmastime I travel 20 mins out of my way just to go to Mac’s to pick up shrimp and lobster salad for my family. I normally order take out but they do have a counter for eat-in customers. If you are in the L/A area and you are looking for “wicked good” seafood, in my opinion, there is no finer place than Mac’s Downeast Seafood.
